TOUR DIVIDE

The Tour Divide is an annual mountain biking race traversing the length of the Rocky Mountains, from Canada to the Mexican border. Following the 2,745-mile (4,418 km) Great Divide Mountain Bike Route, it is an extreme test of endurance, self-reliance and mental toughness. The race format is strictly self-supported, and it is not a stage race - the clock runs continuously from the start until riders cross the finish line.

I'd been wondering where your planned updates on the Sabie were so was gutted to hear it had gone so horribly pear shaped.d It's always horrible to bail out of a race (I've done it twice and really hated it each time!), but to bail out of the Sabie must have been really tough.
ReplyDeleteThings look a bit bleak right now as the wheels seem to be coming off the training programme but hang in there as things will come right again. It certainly sounds like you made a good call in favour of your longer term plans to complete the Epic.
All the best
