Training Plan for Epic

Well I have managed to get down to some planning and have nailed down some planning for my Epic hours. It looks like an ambitious plan for the next 12-week cycle and I do hope that we can include in all the planned rides. The normal training plan is 'broken' by a trip to the Sani 2 C which was the highlight of last years cycling calender. I do look forward to it this year again, as by this time I should be well prepared for Epic. Please feel free to comment....
Training will be peaking at 20hrs, which will be ambitious - but I think it will be important to get the hours in early in the schedule. The training will be a mixture of road, offroad as well as road running and gym, which will all count to the hours!

Off tomorrow with my 3 hour standard morning ride...

    Good luck with the new training programme, I hope it all goes well.

    I'm really enjoying mine right now. I've gone for the fewer but longer rides option together with some Pilates for the core muscles.

    I can't recommend enough bringing the bike when you come down and it would be great to hook up for a ride.
