Well it looks like I should include a raincoat! It looks like we are going to be having a muddy Sani2C. The weather forecasts are showing a high probability of rain day and night. The concern for the race is that when that area gets muddy - it gets MUDDY. There is not much that we can do about it other than put our heads down and try and get through it as quickly as possible. ;(

I cannot believe that the time has gone by so quickly, last night I pack up my boxes with all the stuff I needed for the race - I am not going to make the mistake of making my box too heavy - last year it was a mission to lug it around the campsite.

I am going to try and write daily reports, so check back and see if I was not too stuffed to get down and write a report!

Other than that - training is going very well. Last week I made my target - we have upped the intensity on the short rides - but still managing the HR on the longer 4+ hr rides. This week I have taken a break off the bike - mostly because it has been in the shop getting sorted out before Sani! Picked it up today - it feels awesome!
