Cape Town greeted us with a glorious day for our prologue. The
overnight winds had disappeared and the skies were blue and clear. Our
start time was @ 11:05:30. So it was hot to say the least. Overall we
did 1:14 on the bike for just over 16kms. Recorded just under 600m of
climbing. The shocker was the temp got up to 42 degrees on the bike.
Overall the ride was fairly technical with some steep climbs (23^max
incline) but overall very manageable. The rest of the day we are just
going to rest easy and get ready for our long day tomorrow. Lets hope
that Team Google feels as good this time tomorrow!
