Well to say that Sani2C took it all out of me would be an understatement! What meant to be the last big week for training has turned out to be a bit of a non-event. :( It seems like the majority of the Sani2C contenders I have also been struck down by the dreaded bug. Although it took a couple of days to hit home - I have been man-down since Tuesday. I did manage to get in two hours of high intensity training - with one stop at our friendly garage midpoint!

Although today, I am feeling considerably better - I am amazed at how weak I am feeling - I am going to try and get a slow and steady ride in on Saturday. But I am not going to stress too much about missing out this week - it is almost too late to do anything for the Epic now.

Well everything is paid up and ready for the Epic - the only thing we need to sort out is the accommodation in Cape Town - I arrive on the Thursday - so am going to try and call up some mates to keep the cost down.

Anyway - wish me luck - off to see the homeopath to get something for this stomach...
