Well I don't really know when to begin... and before anyone starts. No it has not taken me this long to recover from the Epic. It does all seem like so far away that writing about it now does seem like a waste of time! I do think that I need to take some time to write up my Epic experiences and the do and don'ts of the race from my perspective - as I did find these useful when I was preparing for the Epic. The most common question - "Would I do it again?" Yes, tomorrow. Love every second of it. But just can't justify spending R25,5k on a bicycle race.

Now that the Epic has finished my blog will be migrating on becoming less specialised and more generalised for my life and my cycling endeavours. I am really struggling to get back on the bike - winter is not helping. I was meant to race on Saturday - but 75kms now just seems like soooo far! ;)
