OK so Cape Epic have finally release the waiting list numbers. I am number 258 on the waiting list. :(
So the likelihood of getting an entry the convential way looks very unlikely - I just got to hope that the global economic recession hits hard on the international folk and they don't get round to paying their entries in time... Bad thought I know but hey a guy has got to have dreams.

One of my options is through a celebrity entry - my problems is that all the rich and famous people I know would not complete 100m on a bike let alone 100km! So I am putting it out there to see if anything comes of it - do any of you know or can suggest a celebrity or journalist who I can contact to ride the Cape Epic with in 2010. I would ideally like someone based in JHB - but hey - beggars can't be choosers. So if you can think of anyone who would be interested please feel free to send them my way!
