Tie down the hatches - looks like it is going to be a wet Sabie!

Isn't it strange how you get used to doing something and miss it when it is gone! I am referring to my quiet week building up to Sabie. The body/mind seems to get tuned into doing the double digit plus hours and then suddenly here I am faced with a three hour week leading up to Sabie! I find myself wondering what to do with my time! I am sure it will be made up when we get there - the weather outlook is pretty grim with rain forecast pretty much for every day. So I have stocked up on the mudguards, spare brake pads and a healthy dose of humour, as I think they will all be called upon over the Sabie Experience.

I have also managed to set up my camera for the trip - so hopefully I will be able to upload some visuals from the 4 days - if there is a break in the storming!!  I will also try and upload my day's diaries from Sabie via my mobile - the pics will have to wait until I am back.

Sabie Weather

So, I will leave on Thursday afternoon, in an attempt too miss out on all the traffic on the Friday. Last year it took me a couple of hours just to get out of Johannesburg. So, it will be to set up camp at the Merry Pebbles campsite. Hopefully, keeping my head above water.
