In modern day society few are able to achieve what Riaan was able to do. Simply put, he was able to follow his dream and circumnavigate around Africa on his bike. If anyone is wanting a bit of inspiration to get off the couch and do something, then this is the book for you.

He has a great ability to explain what he experiences in great detail and really manages to capture his journey through Africa, warts and all. Although he does not start of with any driving philosophy at the beginning of his ride the adventure in Africa begins to shape his outlook and give perspective to individuals in modern day society.

So whether you are an armchair adventurer or looking for that push to pursue your dream this is a great book that I highly recommend. It is not a new release but timeless for anyone who love to spend time on the bike. (Thanks to a good friend for the introduction to his book!)
